My Name is DeMond Adkison. I am a graduate student at Texas State University-San Marcos. I am majoring in mass communication with a concentration in strategic communication. I also got my bachelors degree in Marketing from Texas State University. I am originally from Dallas, Texas, which does make me a Cowboys and Mavericks fan. I am graduating in May 2012 with my masters so I am very excited to be finishing my academic career very soon. I’m looking forward to the future and all that it might hold for me. I am looking forward to what my future career might take me and the success that I plan on attaining. I was a former athlete so I have a very big competitive side to me and I use it to help me succeed and move on from my failures. No matter what it is I am always looking for some challenge I can use to push myself to be the best at what I’m doing. I love to learn new things, and I like to evolve because when you stay the same is when you get left behind. I love my family and those closest to me and it is because of the that I am the man I am today. It is also because of them that I am so driven to succeed.
